K-12 CAMPUS

Waterloo Local School District

Location: Atwater, Ohio

Client: Waterloo Local Schools

Size: 200,000sf

Delivery Method: CM at Risk

Completed: March 2004

Scope: Major Renovation & Additions

In partnership with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC), AVG submitted the Exceptional Need Application, securing funding nearly 10 years ahead of schedule.

The project involved renovations and additions to the high school (grades 9-12) and a new addition for grades K-8, creating a unified K-12 campus. The design separated academic spaces for each grade while allowing shared use of common areas like a media center, cafetorium, and kitchen. Each grade level has dedicated spaces, including gymnasiums, offices, and classrooms, with separate entrances for each configuration.

“I can tell you that I have been pleased and highly satisfied regarding the level of services and personal attention to detail our district has received from the firm.”

Mr. Robert Wolf

Former Superintendent, Waterloo Local Schools
