Mr. Abbas is the founder and president of Architectural Vision Group, Ltd. Through working tirelessly in the field of architecture for over 40 years, he has led AVG over its 26-year history to become a leader in K-12 educational design, facility assessment, overall master planning, and to be recognized as an award-winning firm. His commitment to improve every community he works with is made evident through his passion, vision, leadership, and dedication to his craft. Driven by a desire to enhance communities and build personal relationships with clients, Mr. Abbas is an asset to every project he is involved in.

Mr. Smiltars has an impressive career spanning nearly 50 years in architecture, planning and design services, with a heavy concentration in K-12 and Upper Education projects. He served as a Principal of AVG since it’s inception in 1998 through June 2024, and now works full-time as the firm’s Senior Design Architect. His commitment has always been for a high standard of design. The scope of Mr. Smiltars work at AVG includes directing the programming and overall design of buildings, and being heavily involved in both the interior and landscape design of our projects. He pays special attention to consulting with our clients to establish the design criteria which is used to develop design options that are functional, desirable and economical, without the need to sacrifice quality for excellent design.
