This project was initially funded under the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission “Exceptional Needs Program”. Shortly after funding approval, the Pymatuning Valley School District became eligible for funding under the “Classroom Facilities Assistance Program” as well.

The high school portion also included an auditorium addition of over 18,000 sq. ft. which seats 750 people and is funded by a LFI (locally funded initiative).

The renovations to the facility included heating system upgrades, including: the addition of a new air conditioning system, complete roof replacement, electrical system upgrades, plumbing & fixture upgrades, new windows, exterior masonry repairs, upgrades to the finishes (including new paint, carpeting/VCT, ceiling tiles, lockers, and casework), security system upgrades, new emergency lighting system, new fire alarm system, ADA upgrades (including elevator, ADA hardware, signage, etc.), site upgrades, new sprinkler system, new furniture and technology upgrades.
