The Westwood facility renovation involved a new addition being constructed on the existing school, allowing students to remain in the building during construction. The facility accommodates separate PK-4 and 5th-8th grade programs, each with their own entrances and exits. Designed for 21st century learning, the facility incorporates flexible classroom spaces, a maker space for hands-on exploration, ELA spaces for collaborative work, and exposed ceilings with skylights for natural lighting. It also features easily movable furnishings to support various activities and learning styles. This project achieved Silver LEED Certification.
