The Elyria Multi-Sport Complex project was undertaken to consolidate outdoor athletics into a central site. The existing Ely Stadium, baseball fields, and tennis courts were demolished, and a new design was developed to address challenges and incorporate various components such as improved vehicular and pedestrian circulation, a new stadium with an 8-lane track and turf field, a field house, soccer fields, a pavilion, tennis courts, and new softball and baseball fields. The project also included the construction of new grandstands and visitor stands.
