Elyria High School – Elyria City School District

High School

320,000 SF Total

280,000 SF Addition

Grades 9-12

The Elyria High School project involved the renovation of the historic 1894 Washington Building and the demolition of other outdated structures, making way for the construction of a new school. To accommodate site requirements, an adjacent city block was acquired and prepared to house the academic core of the new high school campus. The project was executed in two phases, with students being relocated to the new facility and the subsequent demolition of surrounding additions, leading to the completion of the entire new campus.

There are many architectural firms in the business of school design but I feel confident in saying AVG is the cream of the crop. Syed and his team have become part of the fabric of this district.
