Architectural Vision Group (AVG) led the master planning and redesign of Polaris Career Center’s 243,043-square-foot facility, modernizing the 1971-built structure to support evolving career and technical education programs.
Through a detailed space analysis and stakeholder engagement, AVG developed a Program of Requirements (POR) to align the redesign with current and future educational needs. Key upgrades included:
- New Entrances – Improved accessibility and circulation.
- Mezzanines & Lobby Additions – Open, collaborative spaces for students and staff.
- Exterior Façade Improvements – Modernized aesthetics and energy efficiency.
- Site Enhancements – Upgraded parking, pedestrian pathways, and outdoor learning areas.
- Special Education/HVAC Lab Addition – Dedicated spaces for specialized training programs
To ensure uninterrupted operations, AVG carefully phased construction while enhancing Polaris’s learning environments. The result is a dynamic, future-ready facility that fosters innovation and community engagement.
