Architectural Vision Group provided professional design services for the Knox County Career Center Renovations and Additions project. This project was funded by the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission Vocational Facilities Assistance Program (VFAP). The scope of work for this facility included: a new HVAC system, new electrical system, plumbing/fixture replacement, replacement of general finishes, emergency lighting upgrades, fire alarm system upgrades, site improvements, new sprinklers, replacement of loose furnishings, and technology upgrades.

In addition to these renovations, the facility has four vocational programs which received reprogramming funding; hotels & resorts, culinary arts, welding, and cosmetology. The culinary arts and cosmetology programs are open to the public and the re-design and expansion reflected the community’s use of these programs. These programs received a total of 15,000 s.f. of new addition space which was designed under the OSFC Design Manual for Career Technical Spaces.
