North Ridgeville’s Growing Needs Answered: A New, State-of-the-Art Police Department

As North Ridgeville continues to experience rapid growth, the demand for advanced public safety infrastructure has never been more pressing. On April 27th, 2024, the city celebrated the grand opening of its brand-new, cutting-edge Police Department—a pivotal addition to the community that ensures the city is prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Designed and constructed to meet the needs of a growing population, the new 19,833-square-foot police department, along with a 7,800-square-foot adjacent storage facility, is a significant upgrade in terms of both capacity and capability. The sleek, modern structures were crafted to complement the neighboring fire department and reflect the cohesive aesthetic of North Ridgeville’s municipal and public safety facilities.

At AVG, we are proud to have played a role in this essential project. Our design team approached the project with forward-thinking 21st-century principles, ensuring the building’s flexibility, sustainability, and resilience. We designed the space to adapt to the evolving needs of law enforcement, providing room for growth while supporting the city’s ongoing commitment to safety and security.

This landmark project was recently featured in the June 2024 edition of Northeast Ohio Properties Magazine—a testament to the significant role it plays in the community’s development. You can read more about this exciting opportunity and how our team delivered on the city’s vision here!
