William Rainey Harper – Cleveland Metropolitan School District

The New William Rainey Harper School was constructed to replace the previous Harper Elementary School. The design of the new school incorporated input from the community through multiple meetings involving local residents, businesses, and the Neighborhood Building Advisory Committee. By engaging and partnering with the community, the design was evolved through a series of community meetings during each phase of design.

The school boasts various unique features, including extended learning areas, breakout rooms, and spaces for both individual and collaborative learning, along with ample natural lighting and automated lighting controls, aligning with LEED certification standards.

This project is Silver LEED Certified.
