The Gemini Project represented a comprehensive, district-wide initiative aimed at modernizing and restructuring school facilities while fostering stronger community engagement. A centerpiece of the project was the construction of a new state-of-the-art community recreation center, located at Fairview Park High School, which serves both students and the broader Fairview Park community.

In addition to the new recreation facility, the existing Fairview Park High/Middle School underwent significant upgrades and renovations. These improvements included a complete roofing replacement, electrical and plumbing system upgrades, fire alarm system replacement, and asbestos removal to enhance safety. The school’s security was bolstered with a new security system and exterior door replacements. Furthermore, window replacements and ADA-compliant upgrades ensured that the facility met current accessibility standards, creating a safer and more welcoming environment for all students, staff, and visitors. The Gemini Project was instrumental in revitalizing the district’s infrastructure, positioning it for long-term success and community integration.
