As part of Elyria City School District’s master plan, AVG designed the 146,192-square-foot Eastern Heights PK-8 campus to support modern, sustainable learning. Built next to the former junior high, the facility houses separate PK-4 and 5-8 programs with dedicated entrances for smooth transitions. Flexible classrooms, Extended Learning Areas (ELAs), and a maker space foster collaboration and hands-on learning. Recognized for its sustainability, the project earned LEED Silver Certification for its energy-efficient design.
