Westwood PK-8 Campus

About this Project

This project added a new wing to the existing school, allowing students to remain on-site during construction. The design accommodates separate PK-4 and 5th-8th grade programs, each with designated entrances to ensure smooth transitions and age-appropriate spaces.

Designed for 21st-century learning, the facility features flexible classrooms, a dedicated maker space for hands-on exploration, and Extended Learning Areas (ELAs) for collaboration. Exposed ceilings and skylights enhance natural lighting, creating a bright, welcoming environment.

Movable furnishings support dynamic learning, allowing spaces to adapt as needed. With a focus on sustainability, the project earned Silver LEED Certification for its energy-efficient systems and eco-friendly materials.
