Frontier High School

New Matamoras, Ohio

10,000 SF Addition

61,000 SF Existing

Grades 8-12

The Frontier High School project involved a 10,000-square-foot addition and a comprehensive renovation of the existing facility. The new addition features classrooms, a computer lab, and a cafetorium. Safety was a top priority, with the installation of an entirely new HVAC system and an upgraded technology system throughout the building. The facility was also outfitted with a state-of-the-art fire suppression system.

Renovations to the existing science rooms included new underground utilities and modern casework, while the kitchen was completely revamped with new utilities, kitchen equipment, and servicing lines, along with a walk-in freezer and cooler. The gymnasium received updates as well, including a new gym divider curtain, refinished wood flooring with updated striping, and new basketball backstops. Additionally, the high school’s board office was renovated with refreshed finishes.

This firm is “in your corner” – from assisting in the passage of enabling referendums and making public presentations to assisting with educational specifications and color coding and furniture selection. They are a full service firm that goes farther than any architectural firm I’ve ever worked with to assume total quality of the facility as well as satisfaction of their client.
