The Massillon City School District is moving forward with the construction of two new elementary schools, totaling 89,304 square feet. Built on existing sites adjacent to current buildings, these new facilities will allow students to continue their education seamlessly during construction and are designed to achieve Silver LEED Certification upon completion.

Each school will feature Extended Learning Area (ELA) spaces adjacent to classrooms, providing flexible environments that support collaborative, project-based learning. Full-view sectional doors will allow classrooms to open directly into these ELAs, while operable walls between classrooms will offer the flexibility to combine rooms for various activities. The ELAs will showcase exposed ceilings, allowing students to observe building systems in action, and skylights will introduce natural light throughout. Flexible, mobile furnishings will be incorporated across the facility, enabling easy reconfiguration for breakout sessions, small group learning, and other dynamic activities.

Their (AVG) professionalism, creativity and attention to detail have consistently exceeded our expectations making them a trusted group to work with on our building projects… Their expertise, reliability and client-centered approach make them a top choice for building projects.
